Ray's experience with recruitment agencies

Ray experienced considerable difficulty in filling vacancies for Aboriginal Health Worker positions and turned to a recruitment agency to assist.

Ray is a Team Manager for a regional Aboriginal health team. He experienced considerable difficulty in filling vacancies for Aboriginal Health Worker positions and turned to a recruitment agency to assist.

As chance would have it Ray bumped into a local Manager of Aboriginal Workforce from another Local Health District (LHD) while attending a course. He mentioned that he needed some assistance with filling these roles and the manager offered to send him some information and recommendations of recruitment agencies that might be able to assist him.

As a result, Ray was able to get several recruitment agencies to provide him with suitable candidates for the positions.

The recruitment procedure was easy because each of the newly recommended agencies had provided applicants with the required skills and knowledge.
